Student Bios

Rahi Borawake - Hardware Team Lead

I am a 17-year-old senior at Strongsville High School with a passion for painting, reading, and playing tennis (and a growing passion for Pickleball). This year marks my fourth season with STEMstangs, where I serve as the Hardware Lead, helping design, build, and improve our robot. I have also taken on responsibilities in sponsorship outreach and software development, allowing me to contribute to the team in a variety of ways. I joined STEMstangs to think outside the box, develop innovative solutions, and strengthen my problem-solving skills. As I begin my final FTC season, I am excited to continue learning, growing, and making the most of every opportunity!

Ved Londhe - 3d Modeling/Software Team Lead 

I am a 17-year-old senior at Strongsville High School with a wide range of interests, including cricket, tennis, pickleball, and taekwondo. Within STEMstangs, I have taken on leadership roles across multiple areas, serving as a lead for the Software, 3D Printing, and Hardware teams while also supporting the Media team. In addition, I have helped guide the design and construction of various robot mechanisms, contributing to both technical development and team collaboration.

I joined STEMstangs to expand my engineering and technical skills while gaining hands-on experience in designing and building innovative robotic systems. This year marks my fourth season in the FIRST Tech Challenge, and I am excited to continue learning, tackling new challenges, and helping the team achieve its goals.

Aryana Katiyar - Outreach Team Lead

I'm a 17-year-old senior at Strongsville High School, where I enjoy playing tennis, dancing, and playing the viola. Currently in my ffth year with STEMstangs, I look forward to embracing new opportunities. I'm part of the chassis and outreach subteam. My interest lies in software development, and I'm extremely grateful for this exceptional opportunity.

Kanishka Badri - Media/Community Service Team Lead 

Hi! I’m currently a senior at Strongsville High School, where I enjoy playing the violin, golfing, and participating in extracurricular activities. I’m also the captain of the varsity girls golf team. This is my fourth year being a part of STEMstangs, and I’m eager to continue participating while expanding my knowledge and skills even further. My interests on the robotics team revolve around software development, while in the future I hope to pursue a career in dentistry. I’m very excited and looking forward to this upcoming season!

Varada Borawake - Engineering Portfolio Team Lead 

Hi, I’m a 14-year-old sophomore at Strongsville High School. My hobbies include tennis, bike riding, and coloring. As a third-year member of STEMstangs, I am excited to continue expanding my knowledge each season and learning more about robotics. I enjoy taking on new challenges, and working with my teammates. I look forward to growing both personally and technically while contributing to the team’s success.

Anvi Londhe 

I am a 13-year-old student entering 8th grade at Strongsville Middle School. Outside of STEM, I enjoy a variety of activities, including volleyball, swimming, gymnastics, and Indian classical dance. I also play both the piano and cello and am an active member of my school's Student Council.

This is my first season with STEMstangs, and I am excited to begin this new journey with my team. I joined STEMstangs to learn more about engineering, develop my design and problem-solving skills, and challenge myself to think creatively and innovatively. I look forward to gaining hands-on experience, working alongside my teammates, and contributing to the team's success throughout the season. I am eager to learn, grow, and discover what it means to be part of the STEMstangs community

Ashikha Vasanthakumar

I am a 15 year-old who will be a junior at Strongsville High School next year. My hobbies are the violin, running, and horseback riding. I also love volunteering and being involved in the community. It's my Second year at STEMstangs and I can't wait to get started on this journey.

Aarush Chauhan

I am a 13-year-old 8th grader at Strongsville Middle School with a strong passion for tennis, math, and video games. This is my second year on the STEMstangs team, and I’m excited to explore the world of robotics and teamwork. I enjoy learning how things work and using creativity to solve real-world problems through technology. I’m looking forward to a fun and productive season where I can gain new skills, make friends, and contribute to our team’s success!

JIgnesh Dave

Hi, my name is Jignesh and I am a Senior at Strongsville High School. Outside of FTC Robotics, I enjoy playing tennis and staying active through sports. I am very interested in medicine and hope to explore a future career in the healthcare field. I also enjoy research and learning about new scientific and medical developments. Through my interests in robotics, science, and teamwork, I am always looking for opportunities to grow and challenge myself.

Raaga Gouru

Hi! I’m a sophomore at Strongsville High School. I’m actively involved in a variety of activities, including leading a culture club at my school that focuses on connecting students and learning about different cultures. I also enjoy conducting science-based research, especially related to food and its impacts as well as historical research focused on medicne. Outside of academics, I spend my free time with family and friends, reading, going on walks, and participating in community service. I’ve volunteered at events through the Historical Society, school programs, and other local initiatives, all of which have strengthened my commitment to giving back to my community. I’m interested in pursuing a career in biotechnology, and I see robotics as a great opportunity to build important skills such as collaboration, communication, and technical problem-solving. Although this is my first year on the team, I’m excited to learn, grow, and contribute. I also enjoy being creative, whether through art or design, which I look forward to applying in robotics.

Prutha Suryawanshi

I am a 13 year old who will be a freshman at Strongsville High School this year and this will be my first year as a part of the STEMstangs team. My hobbies are reading, playing volleyball, and cooking. I enjoy learning new skills and I can’t wait to see what challenges this season brings! I am very excited to be a part of the team this year!!
